The 13th edition of the International Association for Ambulatory Surgery (IAAS) Congress has begun in the Portuguese city of Porto, in an event that will last until the 29th of May. Present at the opening ceremony, that took place today, were the faces of Ambulatory Surgery at a global level, to formally launch the activities of the international forum. During the next three days, some of the most recent topics in the area will be discussed, with a special attention on technology.
