13th IAAS: Ambulatory Surgery’s experts from around the world discuss the most current topics in the area

The portuguese city of Porto welcomes the 13th International Association for Ambulatory Surgery Congress (IAAS) next monday and until 29th of May. This will be the event where some of the more prestigious specialists in this area will meet, to discuss the most current topics related to Ambulatory Surgery, including innovation, new surgical and anesthetic trends and new technologies. “Ambulatory Surgery had a big improvement in Portugal in the last decade and the Portuguese Ambulatory Surgery Association (APCA) hopes that this area will remain one of the priorities in the agenda of our country’s health policies”, says Dr. Carlos Magalhães, president of APCA.
